ozamiz city cathedral

now come along with me as i show you around to my realm world. lets go to the heart of the city. first stop, was the newly renovated ozamiz city cathedral (top photo). i took this photo a month ago exploring my new buddy jaja a SLR camera. I'm new in photography but i can sense i have a gift in this field. at the back of the church was ICC la salle university and the front of this was the national highway Rizal avenue. from the middle photo was the church altar, you'll see a very huge cross of Jesus. from the bottom photo, you'll see from above a pipe organ which is also one of the historical site in my hometown...these photo shots is taken on a manual mode...

ozamiz city cotta beach

cotta beach. a place to reminisce and unwind. i remember way back '84 i was 10 i wanted to come here to swim in its cold and clean water, i always ask my dad my mom and my tita inday if i can go to cotta beach. well, of course wish is granted. now that i have a family we make it a point that we go to cotta beach. this is a good rendezvous if you are courting someone, and it is peace and quite. it is also good in photography. now cotta beach is developed by the good city mayor reynaldo "aldong" parojinog, and it is more beautiful, and still open to the public for swimming. "two thumbs up mayor great job".

ozamiz city cotta park

cotta park as i called it. in here you will experienced the sea breeze and the beauty of the mountainous landscape of the neighboring island of lanao. you'll see families gathered around having quality time with their children, you can even do exercise and picnics with your relatives and friends, or bring along your trained pets. a very nice place to watch the sunrise and the sunsets. if your in photography I'm sure you'll enjoy taking pictures here. for there are so many subjects to shoot from. well in the evening those light posts will be opened and its cozy and extravagant.

ozamiz city cotta shrine

well, this is the shrine of the virgin of cotta. the people of ozamiz city are religeous. even the people from other places, foreign or domestic visits the shrine. it was believed to be miraculous, no invasion was made by any pirates nor by the japs because of the help of the virgin of cotta, it also helps the sick. what i notice is that, youll see on television other places were hit by strong storms and being completely devastated. but here in my hometown i havent experience a strong storms but it rains like an ordinary rains. thats why i called it the promised land...

ozamiz city lighthouse tower

this is the lighthouse tower which you can see inside the ozamiz city intramuros. i took this shot inside the cotta shrine. one of the historical landmark of my hometown. used by the spaniards to protect its domain from pirates and the japanese imperial army.
